• Digital Printing

In Color has flourished for over 20 years as a leader in the digital printing industry. In 1990, we became the first company between San Francisco and Los Angeles to offer photographic-quality ink-jet prints and digital contract proofs with the installation of our first Iris printer. We have since owned, run and maintained dozens of different models of digital printers, from ink-jet giclée printers to high-speed, electrostatic, ditigal printing presses. Each machine was paired with one or more raster image processors (RIPs) running on various platforms, including Scitex (Motorola and IBM), SGI and Apple. Our output has been featured in newspapers, magazines, art books and fine artwork as well as in small and large scale presentations from the boardroom to the trade show.

• Digital Imaging & Digital Photography

In 1994, In Color began working with top-knotch, professional photographers with the acquisition of our Scitex Smart Scanner PS. Within a few years, we entered the field of professional digital photography, and have been providing digital solutions for both studio and field photographers in conjunction with graphic designers and fine art publishers. • Digital Publishing Systems

Incorporating a rare mix of certified engineering, digital publishing workflow and secure, efficient network design, In Color can help you eliminate costly mistakes and bottlenecks. We have a number of digital publishing certifications from Scitex and Iris, founders & leaders of the technology which powers todays workflows. • Web Publishing & Web Applications

In 1999, In Color began it's foray into Web Publishing. Since then, we've obtained a GIAC Certification (with honors) in Network Security and Network Systems (GSEC) from the world renound SANS Institute . Coupling this extensive understanding of the Internet with our background in visual communications, In Color has become a company highly effective at creating web publishing systems.

• Engineering

Principal, A Arthur Fisher, received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC, Santa Barbara in 1989, where he also had an undeclared minor in computer systems and programming. Mr. Fisher has a the rare ability to create simple solutions to complex problems by integrating the best of modern, high technology. Though he has significant experience with many different computing platforms (SGI Irix, IBM AIX, Red Hat & Fedora Core Linux and Windows NT/XP), Mr. Fisher is a Macintosh enthusiast who purchased his first Apple computer in 1979.
